4 ways to Grow your Audience for Free

Let me ask you a question. Do you want to sell more?
Of course you do. Every business owner wants to sell more of their products and services. Today, I want to share with you four ways that you can grow an audience that wants to buy from you without paying a fortune in advertising. In fact, without paying a cent in advertising.
Now, the secret to selling more is to really connect with more people. It's to grow an audience that know you, like you, and trust you, and want to do business with you. They want to buy from you, because they watch your every step, and they just really like you, and like your brand.
To grow an audience, of course one of the ways you can do that is by paying for advertising. I'm going to share with you four ways that you can do it without paying a cent.
1: Guest blogging
The number one thing you can do is to guest blog. Look for publications that have your target market, have a much larger audience that you do, and you can submit guest articles and guest blogs, so they can publish on their website, on their blog, and they're going to be targeting their audience, which is also your audience. That way, you're going to reach many more people through their platforms, their blogs, and their websites.
Usually, that's free. They won't pay you for writing, but you also won't pay anything for publishing a blog. So look for those publications. There's certainly some in your niche.
2: Guest podcasting
The second way you can grow your audience is quite similar, by guest podcasting. Podcasts are growing, and there are many more appearing these days. Look for some podcasts that are quite well known, that target your audience as well, so the same target market, of course, and obviously, they have a lot of people downloading and listening to those podcasts.
Go along, check them out, listen to the podcast, follow them on social media, interact with them so they can get to know you, and then pitch yourself to them. Why not? What do you have to lose, right? You're going to tap, again, into someone else's audience, but that has your target market in it.
3: Collaborations
The third way that you can grow your audience without paying for ads is through collaborations. Again, you're going to look for other businesses. Look for complementary businesses that already have a large audience, and that you can collaborate with.
Make sure they're not your competitors, they are complementary business. As an example, for a marketing strategist like myself, I could look for a graphic designer, or a web developer, so we could collaborate and we could have the same target market, but we are not competing with each other. Their service and my services complement each other, so then we can offer benefits to our customers and to our audiences.

4: Live Facebook and Instagram videos
Now, for the fourth and last tip, use live videos. If you're going to produce content, and you should create content for your business, try to do live Facebook videos and live Instagram videos. That's because social media favours live videos, and people love them. Without paying a cent, Facebook is going to show your videos to many more people than if you actually upload a pre-recorded video.
If you follow these four steps, or at least one or two of them, you're going to grow your audience much faster, you're going to make more sales without paying for ads.
