You are ready for Facebook ads when…
1- You know that your offer sells
You know that your offer sells because you have sold it before organically. Eve if you have sold your course/offer to a few people here in there.
If you know that people are willing to pay money for what you have to sell, then you know that you can invest in ads and amplify those results.
As I usually say, Facebook ads don't sell anything, what sells is your offer, is your sales page, is your launch, that is what sells.
If people have been already willing to buy from you before, then you have validated your offer and you know that your offer sells. So you can now put fuel into your offer and use ads to amplify your results.
That's what Facebook ads are really great for to amplify what is already working.
2- You can’t replicate the success of your first launch
If you have launched successfully before but you can't replicate the same success. I know it sounds contradictory to the first statement but it's not.
What probably happened is that you exhausted your audience. The first time you offered your course, people purchased it.
But if you haven't built your audience since then, you probably exhausted your audience.
So the people who were likely to buy from you already did, and now it's very hard to replicate the same success without growing your audience and bringing more people into your marketing ecosystem.
Facebook ads are great to help you build your email list and grow your audience, so you can sell your offer again.
3- You know your audience REALLY well
The third sign that you're ready for ads is if you know your audience really really well and the problem that you solved for them.
As I always say, vagueness does not work with Facebook ads. If you really understand your audience, you know very well who they are, the problem that you solve, and their desired outcome, then you're ready for ads.
Let me give you an example. Nobody wants a vacuum cleaner, people want a clean house or office. The vacuum cleaner is a means to what they really want.
Another… no one wants to do Facebook ads, people want sales. Ads are a means to what they really want.
See the difference?
You really need to understand their pain points and their desired outcome.
4- You want to scale your business
If you want to scale your income, but you are already booked out. If you already have clients galore and you just can't accommodate anybody else, well, you know, they're only 24 hours in the day, so you can't expand your time.
What you can do is sell one offer to many people like a course, membership or program. Facebook ads are great for that and they will allow you to scale your business, scale your income without having to add more hours to your day because well, that's just not possible.
5- You want an automated marketing system to sell your offer
And lastly, you're ready for ads if you are exhausted, overwhelmed, burnout, and you want an automated, predictable way to sell your product.
I know that launching can be exhausting, especially if you feel like you need to show up all the time on social media, stories, and reels, here in there, and everywhere, that can really be exhausting, and it can burn you out.
So, you are really ready for ads if you're done with that kind of thing and you want an easier, automated, and more predictable way to launch and sell your online course, program or membership.
